Kedarnath Dham situated in the lap of Garhwal Himalaya in Uttarakhand is open for devotees for 6 months from May to November and after a heavy snowfall, the road to come here is closed, Every year lakhs of devotees visit Kedarnath for Darshan. Kedarnath temple is surrounded by mountains from all three sides, one side is 22000 feet high Kedarnath Parvat, the other side is 21600 feet high Kharkund Parvat and third side is 22000 feet high Bharatkund, not only three mountains but 5 rivers confluence here. These include 5 rivers are Mandakani, MadhuGanga, CheerGanga, Saraswati and Swarnagiri, some of these rivers are considered imaginary, in this region only Mandakini is clearly visible. The origin of Mandakini River is Choribari Glacier, Kedarnath Temple was built near Mandakini River and is one of the holiest twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The historical name of Kedarnath is Kedarkhand. Due to the weather conditions, the doors of Kedarnath Dham open for pilgrims between May and November. In the winter season, the deity is taken from Kedarnath to Ukhimath, where the deity is worshiped for next 6 months. Kedarnath altitude is 3584 meters above sea level. The journey to Kedarnath is very picturesque and peaceful, for which words fall short. The journey to Kedarnath starts from Gaurikund. The distance from Kedarnath to Gaurikund is about 17 kilometers, which pilgrims cover on foot. And some devotees also do this journey by horse, doli or ponnies, if you travel on foot then it takes about 7 to 8 hours to do this journey and if you do this journey by horse then it takes about 4 to 5 hours. Meet our driver at Delhi airport/station/hotel/home and drive to Haridwar. On reaching Haridwar, check in at the hotel. After resting for sometime, visit Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Daksh Mahadev Temple if time permits, in the evening visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti. The 'aarti' worship of the Ganges after sunset and the floating 'diya' (lamp) is a moving ritual. Back to your hotel. Night stay in Haridwar.
Morning after breakfast we will drive to Guptkashi. On the way, you can see the Mandakini river at Tilwara. Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive along the river to reach Guptkashi, and visit Ardha Narishwar temple in Guptkashi. On arrival at Guptkashi check-in into the hotel. Enjoy a fresh vegetarian dinner in the hotel, Night hault in Guptkashi.

Today morning after early wakeup, drive to Sonprayag. From here take the local jeep to Gaurikund. Gaurikund is the start point of the trek to Kedarnath. From here start your foot journey further. Gaurikund is considered the bathing place of Mata Gauri. There is a Kund in this place from where the hot water stream flows. After taking bath in this place you will start the journey of Kedarnath ji. There are two options to reach Kedarnath. One by trekking, horse, pitthu or palanquin and the other by helicopter. On the trek way, you will also find tea and snack shops at places you can stop and have tea snacks. You have to walk 18 km to visit Kedarnath Dham. This temple is situated in the middle of the snow-capped peaks which are Kedar, Kharchkund, and Bharatkund. The main temple here is built in the katyuri style. Enjoy Dinner and take rest in Kedar Baba's House. On reaching Kedarnath visit Kedarnath Temple, Shri Bhairavnath Temple, Adi Shankaracharya Ji Samadhi, and Bhimshila, then return to your hotel. Night stay in Kedarnath.
By Helicopter: In the morning our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the helipad (Phata, Guptkashi, Sirsi, etc.) as per your helicopter ticket time. Please inform the driver in advance of the helicopter booking time mentioned on your helicopter ticket. Different aviation has different places for their helicopter service. Our driver will provide you with both hotel pick-up and hotel drop service. Advance booking for the helicopter is highly recommended. *(Helicopter ticket is not included in this package)
By Trek: In the morning our driver will drop you at Sonprayag then you have to take a local jeep to Gaurikund and then start your trek to Kedarnath ji. You can also take a horse, doli, pittu, or palanquin from Gaurikund at your own cost, after Kedarnath Ji Darshan, come back to your hotel, overnight stay at Kedarnath, Next day trek back to Sonprag. Parking is a big problem in Sonprayag, so keep your driver's phone number with you and call the driver on reaching Sonprayag.
Morning, after visiting the Kedarnath temple, you will start the journey back to Sonprayag after breakfast. On reaching Sonprayag/Phata/Sirsi by down trek or helicopter. Drive to hotel, Check-in hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Guptkashi.
By Helicopter: When you leave for the helipad from Kedarnath, inform the driver about your expected return time and the name of the helipad as per the ticket. Our driver will pick you up from the helipad and drop you at your hotel.
By Trek: When you down-trek from Kedarnath to Sonprayag, inform the driver about the estimated return time. Once you reach Gaurikund from Kedarnath, you can take a local jeep to Sonprayag. Keep the driver's contact number with you in case of parking issues and call him when you reach Sonprayag so that he can pick you up and drop you at the hotel.
Today, after breakfast, early morning drive to Chopta, which is known as Mini Switzerland. It will take you about an hour to reach Chopta, check in at the hotel, and after refreshment, start the trek to Tungnath Temple, which is the highest temple of Lord Shiva. The trek is around 3 km from Chopta. Visit Tungnath Temple. Tungnath also known as Dwitiya Kedar (Second Kedar), is one of the Panch Kedar. Also, if possible trek 1 km more to reach Chandrashila Peak. You will get a 360-degree panoramic view of the snow-capped Himalayas. Return to hotel in Chopta. After dinner, Overnight stay at Chopta.
Morning after Breakfast, Drive to Rishikesh. Rishikesh 'The Abode of the Sages' is a famous spiritual city on the banks of the Ganges and is surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi performed severe penance, the Lord appeared by the name of "Hrishikesh" and the region came to be known as Rishikesh. check-in at the hotel. In the evening visit Laxman Jhula, and Ram Jhula. After dinner, a night stay at Rishikesh.
